Road Safety Week & Ditch the Dark!

    21 November 2025 (by Katie Robinson (krobinson815))

We had a fantastic time celebrating Road Safety Week last week, encouraging everyone to travel actively to school!

This week we took part in Road Safety Week, with everyone encouraged to travel actively—walking, cycling, or scooting—to school.

The theme explored across all classes was 'Safe Vehicles,' allowing for discussions and activities surrounding this, including a colouring competition.

We wrapped up the week with a fantastic assembly led by Primary 4, focusing on the critical message of 'Be Bright and Be Seen.' This lesson was visually reinforced by our annual 'Ditch the Dark Day,' where pupils and staff dressed in their brightest clothes as a powerful reminder of how to keep visible and safe on the roads.

Thank you to everyone for taking part in a super week!
