News Stories Wheels, Waves, and Wings: Transport Adventures in P1! From boats and bubbly car washes to counting cubes and parking cars on letters, P1 took a fun-filled, hands-on road trip through the world of transport this week in play! October Award Winners! Well done to all the pupils who received awards in assembly for their hard work and fantastic efforts in October! Readathon 2025! A massive thank you to all the parents and everyone who generously supported our pupils for Readathon! We had a brilliant day dressed up as characters from a wide range of stories! "Hello Yellow!" - Celebrating World Mental Health Day! Seymour Hill Primary School shone with yellow for World Mental Health Day for #HelloYellow! Forest Floor Shapes in P2! Primary 2 learned about 2D shapes by making them with their bodies and natural resources in our Forest School! September Award Winners! A massive well done to the 'Pupil of the Month' and 'Handwriter of the Month' winners for September! Harvesting Apples & Exploring Autumn in P4! Primary 4 had a fantastic time on their autumn scavenger hunt, exploring signs of the new season and showing off their great teamwork. They also had a brilliant time harvesting a fantastic crop of apples from our school trees! LSC1 Exploring and Playing Outdoors! LSC1 have had a brilliant time in our outdoor play area learning outside! They have worked on their mark-making using chalk, paint, and water, and have been busy building and creating! Exploring 'All About Me!' in Primary 1! Primary 1 have been busy with our 'All About Me' topic, learning through indoor and outdoor play! P5 Planet Earth Collages! Mr Penney's P5 class have been hard at work on their Planet Earth collages, inspired by Oliver Jeffers’ book, 'Here We Are'.
